I am a versatile and highly skilled web developer with over 20 years experience in full-stack development, specialising in front-end technologies including React/Next.js and with back-end expertise in Ruby on Rails. I deliver creative, visually appealing, and highly functional web applications. Mego

Lego Auditing Tool

Mego is a React and Next.js multi-user web application created to catalogue extensive Lego collections. It leverages Supabase for data management, authentication and image storage.

The app provides detailed brick auditing capabilities, enabling the aggregation of parts by colour and shape, offering a comprehensive overview of each collection's inventory.

Dokku

Sudoku Solver

Dokku is a sudoku solver developed with React and Next.js, designed to tackle complex problem-solving while maintaining a clean, intuitive user experience.

This project serves as my go-to exercise for refining advanced coding skills and algorithmic thinking. In addition it focuses my UX skills to ensure simplicity and usability at the forefront of the interface design.

  • Built and maintained various tools, such as legal calculators, a market segmentation tool and stats dashboards, using React and Ruby
  • Developed custom Grafana plugins and dashboards, resulting in real-time insights and visualisation across multiple databases
  • Prototyped the second generation of the company's mobile app, a legal assistant using React Native
  • Seconded into a 6 phase data cleanse and merge of two 10 year data sets, for migration into Salesforce
